Hello, my name is Sarah Meyer. I am a former graduate of St. Paul Elementary School and returned 13 years ago as a teacher. I graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a Degree in Education in 2004, and later returned to obtain my master’s. I taught at Parkwood Elementary in the Greater Clark School Corporation for seven years, before joining the wonderful staff here at JPII. I love teaching at JPII and I am looking forward to another great year!
My goal as a teacher is to help all students be successful, both academically and personally. I use many teaching techniques within my classroom to help all students learn to their highest potential. I plan to create a Christ Centered classroom environment, where students are excited about learning.
One of my goals as a teacher is to challenge each student throughout the year, and to help them improve as much as they can. I use Indiana State Standards and Religious Standards to help guide and plan my instruction. The focus on these standards, ensures students are meeting quality education expectations; while aiding in the preparation of their future education and careers .
I have two children, Mason who is 13 and Remi who is 10. Mason will be in 8th Grade. He enjoys both basketball and baseball. Remi will be in 5th grade here at JPII. She loves to play basketball, volleyball, and softball; though softball is her true passion! When we are not spending time at the ballfield, we love being outdoors and spending time with our friends and family. We are so thankful each and every day for the blessings we have in life.
