Several types of technology are used by our teachers to enhance the learning experience. They allow the teacher to better present information and accurately measure student progress and meet individual needs.
Chromebooks
Our Middle School students are assigned a Chromebook they use at school and take home each night. Digital assignments are given on a daily basis through Google Classroom.
Grades 1- 5 are 1:1 with Chromebooks in their classrooms. Chromebooks are used throughout the school day, incorporating appropriate activities throughout the day. Although these stay at school, students are assigned digital homework throughout the week to complete at home on their own device.
Our students in Kindergarten are 1:2 using touch screen chromebooks. Chromebooks are used with both small groups and as a whole class. The Kindergarten classes also have digital assignments which are completed both at home and in the classroom.
Interactive Panels
All classrooms are equiped with Interactive Panels. These panels are used as a tool for both the teachers and the students. Lessons can be demonstrated on the panels and completed interactively by the students during class. The interactive panels enhance the daily curruculum of the students by providing additional resouces to both the teacher and the classroom.
